With most of its prey living in the water column rather than the sea floor, some litusfoi began to select for adaptations that would aid them in travelling through the water column. This ultimately resulted in the winged litusfoi. Its body has become significantly flatter, with lobe-like extensions protruding from the sides. These lobes can be rippled to provide propulsion through the water column. Its main form of sustenance is marine snow, but it also will also consume any lituswush and litustar it comes into contact with. Due to its pelagic lifestyle, it rarely comes across any metals. As a result, it gains most of them through the consumption of its lithotrophic ancestor and its relatives.
