Carpozoa are a kingdom of organisms somewhat similar to Earth animals. They are primarily Heterotrophic and live active lifestyles. They have no cell wall, except for members of Asterfolia. They are distinct for their "baits", proteinaceous extensions of the cell membrane, which are often adapted into specialized cilia or flagella-like structures. The vast majority of extant members are some type of fauna.

Subgroups and Classifications

Luceremundaria(Superphylum):

Superficially fish-like organisms with a varying number of fins, as well as many different lifestyles.

Pseudicthyida(Phylum):

Fish-like fauna with developed organs and blood.

Geletaventria(Class): Fish-like fauna with large stomachs that contain a digestive jelly.

Syndeopsia(Class): Superficially fish-like organisms with a varying number of fins and a sucker-like mouth. Most are liquivorous to some degree.

Carpolantaia(Phylum):

Jellyfish-like fauna with nutrient-poor bodies and simple organ systems.

Asterzoa(Superphylum):

Superficially starfish-like fauna with four arms.

Asterzalia(Phylum):

Active asterzoa capable of swimming.

Asterstreidia(Phylum):

Sessile, filter-feeding asterzoa.

Asterfolia(Phylum):

Superficially leaf-like asterzoa with cell walls which are capable of photosynthesis.

Multinerescans(Phylum):
