This cursorial relative of the chkarsher is highly adapted for running after its prey. Most notably, its middle legs have become smaller than its front and back legs, allowing it to invest more energy in the front and back legs. This also lets the legs move them forward and backwards further, further supporting its cursorial lifestyle. These middle legs still find a use, though: their hook-like, inward-facing claws allow the Cursorithere to hold a kill while running, so it can make a quick getaway from a rival. Their wide, rounded jaws are full of muscle, allowing them to deliver a harder bite. Similar to other arthrotheres, it possesses a more efficient immune system, with cells specifically designed to kill arthrophage with enzymes. These immune cells are transported through a simple lymphatic system, derived from blood vessels.
