Bristled Pseudosinia

Much like its ancestor, the Bristled Pseudosinia moves upwards and found an environment more rich in microbial life and loose organic particulates, but with that comes increases competition from the various other organisms of the environment. They have begun to produce a bristled cillia like structure on their front frond structure. This allows them to collect drifting microbes and nutrients as they slowly drift through the structures. These structures appear to be an adaptive response to the increased competition of the biological dense twilight zones. They uses specialized structures to filter microbes from the water. They produce a sticky waste secretion that coats their entire structure around the cilium, trapping any organism that floats through. Once the cilium reach a certain density of matter, they will retract into the main body, where the matter will be dissolved into usable organic matter within lysosomes. Their arms are cup shaped and curved towards the general direction of their cillia-mouths, so as to help divert some matter towards them.
