The Branching Cryotable has become fully terrestrial. It has expanded into the Montane regions of Drake and Ovi and become one of the first flora to colonize these regions. Its stem has developed a branching growth pattern as a result of the duplication of the stem in an ancestor. Each stem is capped with a singular plate, both of which can be angled towards the sun as it moves through the sky to increase their solar gain. It is otherwise much like its ancestor, reproducing via waterborne spores during rain and snow melt events. With the assistance of silica utilizing microbes they are able to build their silicon structures without relying on living in naturally high silica environments.
