Subgroups
Family Psuedolumbricidae
The oldest members of the whole phylum, and containing nearly all of the mudworms. Members of this branch live their lives as simple detritivores.
Family Pseudoartidae
This branch is distinguished from its ancestors due to their ability to swim in a serpentine motion. Their parapodia are also encased in chitin and members of this branch filter feed in addition to consuming detritus.
