Bistratiformes are a subgroup of Arthrotheria which are often terrestrial or amphibious and have both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton. The vast majority of species are ovoviviparous.

Family Bistratidae
Bistratiform Arthrotheres which retain the ancestral Arthrothere body form, only on land.
Family Mantitheriidae
Often quadrupedal, herbivorous Arthrotheres which resemble centaurs.
Family Arthrofelidae
Often predatory, superficially cat-like Arthrotheres.
