Scutivermis are a group of armored worm-like Symbiozoans with heavy, often spiked exoskeletons. Its crown group is the Knightworms. Extant members, by default, have four eyes.
Subgroups
Class Milesvermia
Typical, usually jawless Knightworms with short or no legs.
Superclass Arthrotherimorpha
Knightworms with long legs and beak- or tongue-like jaws.
Class Crystalloformicia
Often quadrupedal Knightworms with tongue-like jaws and fins in place of their hind legs.
Class Arthrotheria
Often hexapodal Knightworms with beak-like jaws, commonly known as Arthrotheres.
